No Edgy Deer

"My hunting buddy, introduced me to Xterminator last season. We used it in an unused bedroom as a "decontamination room" where we dressed, undressed and hung all our gear, weapons, daypacks, boots, etc. Actually, that's not all that different from the scent control measures we have used for years. EXCEPT, the Xterminator was quietly humming on a shelf. (Tom even used it to de-scent his little SUV which we used to move around the property). Repeatedly on this hunt, deer passed directly downwind of me and didn't even get edgy. I took a mature doe and a nice 8pt buck both at less than 30 yds. and both directly downwind of me. After years of trying all other scent control programs and products with unreliable and inconsistent results, I am delighted to have been introduced to the Xterminator. True Test

"After getting my unit last year I built a closet in my basement about 5x12 and put shelves and hangers up. I had already washed all my clothes, hung them up and put all my gear in. After about 2 hours I was in awe how clean they smelled, but the true test was in the woods which was amazing how the deer did not know I was there. I use it every day on all my gear and clothes before I enter the woods. Although I didn't get a buck last year, I could have taken over 40, looking for the 150+. And took over 20 does for Farmers and myself. I do think it is the greatest thing ever for hunting. I also used it when my buddy spilled gas in his car and it removed all the odor after  2 hours. Decontamination On The Go

"The Xterminator is fabulous!  My hunting buddy and I are very “anal-retentive” about our scent control.  You wouldn’t believe the things we do!  Most are “small things”, but the Xterminator has added a major component to our scent control evolution. Before each hunt, I put everything from boots, clothes, weapons, accessories, etc. exposed for decontamination. I have a number of cats and dogs in the house and sometimes it starts to smell like it.  I’ve used the Xterminator in certain rooms and eliminated any odor in a brief period of time – also knowing the room has been sterilized. Xterminator for Hard Goods

"I am very pleased with my Xterminator unit. I hunt with Tim Ott and saw how beneficial the unit was on his 170 class buck. With Tim's direction, I diligently use my unit. I purchased a Rubbermaid storage unit and created a decontamination chamber in my basement. It is such a convenience to pull clothes from the washing machine and place them in this chamber. Over extended periods between hunts, I periodically run the Xterminator unit to keep things fresh and definetly run it prior to departing for a hunt. The most beneficial aspect of the unit is for "hard goods" of the hunting world. How else can you eliminate odors from bows, arrows, calls, knives, saws, ropes, hooks, releases, etc. - it is basically impossible. The unit makes this excercise simple. Ia am diligent with scent control clothing, detergents, soaps, etc. I feel the Xterminator is another vital part of this overall process. I've had deer downwind of me since using my unit that did not detect me. I feel the Xterminator is a big reason why!"

Outdoor Shed Chamber

"I have used the xterminator during the first part of this season and have had pleasing results. I built an enclosed space in my outdoor shed and installed wiring and plugs with a clothes dryer. The area is 8x5 with a closet rod to hang all clothing with space between items & also hooks to hang binos, range finder, camcorder, grunt tube, backpack, etc. I have not gone out deer hunting in the last 10 or 12 years without my scentlok clothing on. I am a scent conscious freak. I also have killed big deer year after year. I believe the xterminator has taken my scent control to a higher level. I hold my hands in front of the air stream before dressing and again for 1-2 minutes before walking out of my scent chamber. I have had deer smell of my pull rope and pick up no odor, come back in 15 minutes with her 2 little ones with her. I had deer spot my umbrella in the tree one morning and walk circles around and around my tree trying to pick up scent, they failed to wind me. I am getting ready to go to Iowa to guide and also to hunt, you better believe the Xterminator is going with me. Effective, Convenient - No More Hanging Outdoors

"I am very pleased with the effective way (and convenient way) it takes care of scent control. I set it up in a small closet with all my hunting stuff. In the morning I turn it on for 20 to 40 minutes depending on whether I used it the day before or a week has gone by ( weekend use ). While this is going on I take a shower and have a cup of coffee. When getting to my stand I use a fox urine drag rag and in the stand earth scent wafers. Before having the Xterminator - I would hang my clothing and gear outdoors. This can be a problem with weather. I would also at times put the cloths in a container with pine bows and leaves. The Xterminator has eliminated a great deal of scent control hassle!"

Largest Deer Yet... Didn't Get That Old By Being Stupid

"I have been very well pleased with the unit and use it each night before the next morning's hunt. I use my closet as the decontamination chamber, the closet is approximately 3 1/2 feet wide by 15 feet long. I find the unit quite convenient, I simply turn it on and let it run through the night until hunt time, about 5 hours. The ozone is very detectable in scent. It is difficult to tell how much of a difference it makes, but I use it religiously. I will say, however, that during our youth gun season my son shot a 19 point non- typical, the largest deer shot yet on our ranch. How much of this was due to the scent control provided by the xterminator is unknown. The deer came over a fence 30 yards from us, however, and was at least 5 1/2 years old, he didn't get that old by being stupid. Never Winded!!

Two Brothers Put X to the Test

"The night before opening day, I hung three hunters clothes inside my shed that is now my Xterminator decontamination room. My brother laughed in disbelief and said he was going to hang his clothes the way he had for the past 40 years. My son, nephew and I were impressed how close the deer were and never knew we were there. We had does and bucks come within 10 yards without lifting their heads. I had a 10 pointer come within 15 yards, straight on but would not turn for a clean shot. But to my surprise, I looked to my left and there was a very nice 8 pointer. I got this one and my nephew got an 8 pointer too. My son was hunting for larger racks so he let his 6 and 8 points go by. My brother (who didn't use the X) shared his story of having a nice 6 and 8 pointer come within 40-50 yards but wouldn't come any closer.
