Best Buck Yet... Thanks to the Xterminator Unit

I have been having exponential success with your Xterminator product. I have to say that I have been closer to animals since using your product than ever before in my hunting career. My only complaint is that with my success I might have to start sending you guys my taxidermy bill!

I harvested this mature buck from my ground blind at 34 yards, I was not sure if I could pull off harvesting this mature animal from the ground. But with your product it was possible. I had three other bucks walk to within 10 yards of my blind that evening two of which went downwind of me and never new I was there. This made all the difference in my success, as he was the last buck to enter my food plot.

5 Yards Downwind From Ground Blind

Here are a couple photo's of our recent trip to SD for muley's and whitetails.  This is Mike Newmann, one of the guys with us.  I took the Xxterminator along and setup a chamber there and he was using it with me.  He shot this buck on the second night of the hunt.  It's all ground hunting out there and he was not in a blind, just using some of the small cedar trees that are out there.  He watched this buck at 150-200 yards for nearly an hour, feeding.  It then moved toward him but out of his sight.  It came up directly behind him, downwind, to within 5 yards on the opposite side of one of the trees he was using as a blind.  He had to wait for it to move away to get a shot.  When the deer finally moved away, unspooked, he peeked around the tree and shot him at 15 yards, again downwind as he move back the way he came from.  I've been using the Xxterminator at home here and I don't really have an issue with deer scenting me.  I've used it long enough now to see that it does seem to make a difference.

More Deer Downwind than Ever in My Life

X'ed My Elk Tag

My experience as a wildlife biologist and serious bowhunter has been that elk will only smell you once, and they're gone, no questions asked. So scent control is critical in elk hunting, especially with a bow where shooting distances are short. Working mountain slopes at 9000 feet can work up a sweat and generate way more scent than you want as an elk hunter. But I tend to be skeptical of gimmicks or new devices for scent control. And that was the case with Xterminator… until I tried one. This elk came in to 14 yards on my Colorado elk hunt in 2008. Fortunately, all of my clothing had been treated with the Xterminator the night before the hunt. As you can see, now I’m sold. Whitetails watch out.

Where the rubber meets the road - to success or failure...

To consistently harvest mature whitetail bucks with archery equipment, you have to minimize all odors on every piece of equipment you take in the woods. Given that fact, one of the biggest challenges I face is getting rid of the “new tire” smell from my rubber boots. I typically leave my new boots outside for at least a year before I consider wearing them in the woods so I thought this would be a great test for the Xterminator. I had a pair that had been sitting out for about 2 months but still had a very strong smell to them. I placed them in a small bathroom with the Xterminator and checked on them 30 minutes later. I was very surprised to find the smell from the outside of the boots was completely gone. From now on, all of my gear and clothing will be Xterminated before entering the woods. I am even planning to use it on the inside of my truck during the season. This product represents a huge step forward in scent control technology!

Xterminated This Booner!

Hey Xterminator, I finally killed the huge buck I’ve been scouting for months. And my Xterminator undoubtedly helped me kill this deer and has truly been a great benefit to my whitetail hunting. In fact, yesterday I had an even bigger buck straight down wind of me at 40 yards and he had no idea I was there. This is my first Boone and Crockett buck and by far my biggest bow kill. 10 Pointer Downwind at 10 Yards!

My Xterminator works awesome! I used it in my room and truck every day and I saw more big deer downwind than I did upwind! I shot this 10-pointer downwind at 10 yards. No More Scent Control Hassle

Just like other deer hunters, I really pay a lot of attention to scent control. It’s a lot of work and I have to admit I get tired of the routine and wished many times that it was easier. Last season I started to wonder how much of a difference using the carbon lining, boot scrubbing, sprays, and everything made when I didn’t get one deer. Then, my luck changed this past season when I followed the same regiment and hunted in the same places, yet this time I had "shocking" results!
